Our recent survey led to a discovery of a secret place where no one on earth owns, our very own Bermuda triangle of sorts. We’ve mentioned the plot is old, and in the original deed we found out that it was part of 210 acre farm that was divided roughly 3 ways amongst the farmers children.
“lots number one, number two and number three as the same were demised set and to farm let on the twenty third day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty four…”
Nearly 240 years ago the boundaries might not have been exact and we’re pretty sure the cows and corn fields did not care one way or another. Evidently the 3 properties never met in the corner leaving a 5’ triangle in the middle of 3 heavily wooded lots with no one to claim it as their own. To be sure, we stood in the middle of that 5 ft triangle one at a time to make sure no one disappeared into a void; nothing happened we couldn’t explain…yet.
